Eric Abramowitz
Eric’s journey into physical therapy started the same place as most of his best stories, on the field. A lifelong love of sports and a few meaningful experiences with excellent care convinced him that helping people move and feel their best was exactly what he wanted to do. He earned his Doctorate in Physical Therapy from the University of Delaware in 2012 and has built a practice around compassion, curiosity, and results.
Eric is curious about how the body works and relentless about finding what helps each person improve. He’s completed advanced training in Dry Needling, SFMA, FMS, Titleist Performance Institute (Medical Level 2), Run DNA L2, Mulligan Mobilizations, and PNF techniques. Skills he uses to create individualized, practical plans that get people back to the things they love.
Teaching is one of Eric’s great joys. He taught Electrotherapeutics at Widener University’s DPT program for a few years and found it deepened his care: when patients understand why something hurts and how rehab helps, they’re more confident and often recover faster. He brings that same clear, patient-centered approach to every appointment.
Eric has worked with high-level athletes across multiple professional sports organizations (NBA, NFL, LPGA, UFC, Pro Squash and Paddle Tour) and collegiate athletes but he treats every person with the same care and urgency. He believes everyone is an “athlete” in their own life, and he loves helping people reach the goals that matter to them.
When he’s not with patients, Eric is with his wife and two daughters, watching or playing sports, on the golf course, skiing, or doing whatever active adventure the day calls for. He’s happiest helping others move better and enjoy life more.
